A note from Ihab Murad

Why I built Constrings

A calmer way to review App Store metadata, understand the context, and decide what to do next.

Every app update used to end the same way for me: too many browser tabs, localized drafts squeezed into tiny fields, and no comfortable way to judge the whole change before saving.

Most tools I found started with a cloud dashboard and a set of estimates. Those estimates may help some teams, but I wanted a workspace that kept verifiable information separate from interpretation. I also wanted my drafts to stay on my own Mac.

The useful parts of App Store visibility already belong in the same conversation. Metadata gives keyword coverage its context. Coverage helps you read a rank check. Rank movement tells you where another look may be worthwhile. Splitting that work between tools made the next decision harder than it needed to be.

So I built Constrings: a native workspace where localized metadata, coverage, and live rank checks sit together. Pull existing drafts, review each language beside the primary, catch practical issues, and Save deliberate draft changes back to App Store Connect.

The Markets workspace checks Apple Search directly from your Mac and keeps the history local. Your private key stays in the macOS Keychain, there is no Constrings account, and the app contains no telemetry.

Constrings does not reduce visibility to a made-up score. It helps you see the information you can inspect, compare, and use for your next decision.
